Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ's prior to your appointment(s):

FLOATING:
- What to wear?
You will be in a private suite for your floating experience, so "birthday suit or bathing suit", it's up to you and your own comfort level. If you bring a bathing suit to wear to float, don't forget to bring a plastic bag to transport your wet suit home after your visit. Be sure to rinse out the salt water very well, it will be quite saturated by our highly salinated salt water!

- Do I need to bring my own towels?
No, we have a towel and wash cloth provided for you. As well as disposable ear plugs, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, but you are welcome to bring your own along if you desire. If you want to bring your own shower shoes or flip flops, that is your choice, we do not provide those.

- I just colored my hair, can I still float?
Unfortunately, if you colored your hair recently, you may have to wait a week or so until the color sets permanently. If you use a brightly colored red or any other temporary coloring, you may have to wait longer. Your hair will get wet in the floatation session and any coloring that is still "bleeding" could color our fiberglass tanks and our float solution, which would result in an additional cleaning fee for the customer and it could also reduce the longevity of your coloring, which is not good, either. A good way to test prior to your float is to fully saturate your hair with warm water and then run/draw your hair through a white cloth. If any coloring comes off on the white cloth, you will need to wait a bit longer to float. Thank you for your understanding in this situation.

- I have a fresh tattoo, can I still float?
Unfortunately, if you are still healing after a tattoo, you will want to wait up to 3-5 weeks to float. The skin will be sensitive and might sting in the salt water and you wouldn't want to risk diluting the ink by floating in salt water for an hour or more. The salt water helps the skin to heal, which is why it is great to help heal a sunburn, but the tattoo is desired to stay sharp forever, so we don't want to interrupt the "setting in time" with the healing after getting a tattoo. It would be best to wait until it is fully healed over and no longer "shiny" in appearance.

- Any other suggestions?
You may want to abstain from shaving the day of the float (any nicks, cuts or open wounds will burn in the salt water and that can be quite distracting), limit caffeine or other stimulants before you float so that you are not fighting against that stimulation to relax, eat a light meal an hour or two before so that you are not hungry but not too
full. Also, if you are a female on your cycle, be sure to use a tampon and if you are on a "very heavy" day, please reschedule your float for another day.

SAUNA:
- What to wear?
Bathing suit, work out clothes or you can wrap in a towel that will be provided.

-Shower available?
We do have a shower available after the sauna for an additional fee and only in room 5. Otherwise, we do provide a cold, wet washcloth to wipe down any sweat after your sauna session in either sauna room.

- Can I bring my own water?
yes, you are welcome to bring in your own water container, otherwise, we do have cold water bottles for purchase at the spa.

Review about our team:
I recently had the absolute pleasure of visiting Serenity Now Float Spa, and I can’t stop raving about the experience! From the moment I walked through the door, I was enveloped in a sense of calm and tranquility that’s hard to find anywhere else. The ambiance is pure bliss—soft lighting, soothing scents, and a peaceful vibe that instantly melts away stress.
The real stars of the show, though, are the staff. They went above and beyond to make my visit unforgettable. Every team member I encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about ensuring I had the best experience possible. They took the time to explain the float process with patience and enthusiasm, answering all my questions and making me feel completely at ease. Their attention to detail and personalized care were nothing short of exceptional—I felt like a VIP from start to finish.
The float itself was pure magic. The serene environment of the tank, paired with the perfect water temperature and effortless buoyancy, left me feeling rejuvenated and deeply relaxed. It’s like they’ve mastered the art of serenity here! After my session, the staff even checked in to see how I was feeling and offered thoughtful tips to extend that post-float glow.
Serenity Now Float Spa is an absolute gem, and the staff’s amazing service elevates it to a whole new level. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, recharge, and be pampered by some of the kindest and most skilled people around, this is it. I’m already counting the days until my next visit—five stars aren’t enough for this incredible team and experience!

Review about our team:
Absolutely amazing experience! This spa has been life changing for me. It’s excellent for recovery after the gym, no matter what level of fitness you are. The float tanks are above and beyond any sort of deprivation tank I have seen yet. They are large enough so you do not feel claustrophobic and they are located in your own luxury suite, so you feel you get the whole pamper experience! The best thing I ever did for myself was get a membership here. The entire staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, they offer health seminars that are very interesting. My overall health has improved dramatically since coming here regularly and has helped aid my weight loss and fitness journey. My skin is always radiantly glowing after leaving here and my skin and nails are a long healthier and stronger as well. The benefits are endless. They have so many options here, including halo therapy, contrast therapy, float tanks, PEMF mats, sonix machines, massages, and so much more! My favorite is to do a full detox day here, I leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated every time! Give yourself the greatest gift of health and happiness and try serenity float spa for yourself. They have a lot of affordable options.
