Fire & Ice Contrast Therapy

Ready to Book Fire and Ice?

Contrast Therapy is a scientifically proven rehabilitation and recovery technique to reduce inflammation and pain, speed up recovery time, and improve performance. Using an infrared sauna, alternating the heat from the sauna with ice cold water from the cold plunge causes a physiological effect to stimulate active recovery by flushing out the lactic acid build up in the muscles and improving overall circulation. We offer 40 minute and 60 minute sessions and will walk you through the contrast therapy evidence based protocols on your first visit.

For your first Fire and Ice experience, please feel free to contact us. Our team is here to assist you and answer any questions you may have. We are dedicated to providing a tranquil and rejuvenating environment for your session. Get in touch with us today and embark on a journey of relaxation and well-being.

Wellness Solution for Busy Lives

Contrast Therapy, sometimes called Fire & Ice, is your ticket to feeling refreshed, renewed, and recharged. This unique approach pairs the soothing warmth of an infrared sauna with the invigorating chill of cold water immersion. Whether you seek pain relief, faster muscle recovery, or simply a break from the daily grind, this thoughtfully structured session offers lasting benefits.

Many guests love how this alternating treatment leaves them feeling balanced—calm yet energized. The shifts between hot and cold help eliminate stress and tension you didn’t know you were holding onto. Our cozy spa atmosphere and expert guidance ensure you feel comfortable each step of the way as you embrace the rejuvenation Contrast Therapy brings.

All About Contrast Therapy

Contrast Therapy alternates heat and cold to boost your body’s natural recovery. Enjoy the soothing rays of an infrared sauna, then cool off with a brisk plunge or shower.

Your session includes alternating stints in the infrared sauna and icy plunge or shower. We guide you every step, helping you get the most from each cycle while ensuring your comfort.

This process stimulates blood flow and helps flush out toxins and lactic acid. Muscles find relief, and inflammation calms down, leaving you feeling refreshed.

Ideal for athletes, active individuals, or anyone experiencing everyday aches, this therapy is gentle yet effective. People recovering from workouts or those seeking a wellness boost are frequent visitors.

First-timers are welcome to try, too. For any health concerns, especially heart conditions, a quick consultation ensures your safety. Our team strives to create a welcoming environment for everyone interested in holistic self-care.

Benefits Of Contrast Therapy

Contrast Therapy offers more than just immediate relief—it delivers a range of long-lasting benefits for both body and mind. Discover how this revitalizing technique can support your health and overall well-being.

The ideal frequency for contrast therapy sessions—alternating between hot and cold treatments—varies based on individual goals and physical condition. For general muscle recovery and wellness, 2–3 sessions per week are often recommended. Athletes or those undergoing intense training might benefit from more frequent sessions, even daily during peak periods. However, beginners should start with one session per week to gauge their body’s response. Consult with a healthcare professional or therapist to personalize frequency based on your health status, recovery needs, and goals. Consistency is key, but giving your body time to adapt and recover between sessions is equally important.

Precautions

Contrast Therapy is generally safe for most people, but there are a few exceptions. Individuals with cardiovascular concerns, certain chronic illnesses, or those who are pregnant should consult with their healthcare provider before trying Contrast Therapy. Our team will always perform a quick wellness check and discuss any possible contraindications with you before your session begins. If in doubt, please call ahead so we can answer specific questions based on your personal health history. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we strive to create an inclusive, tailored experience for every guest who visits us.

We recommend bringing a swimsuit or comfortable, minimal clothing for your session, as you’ll be alternating between the infrared sauna and cold plunge. Towels and robes are provided for your convenience. It’s best to hydrate well before your appointment.  If you have any concerns about what to bring, please call our front desk before your visit. Our goal is for you to feel as relaxed and prepared as possible.
